Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe with 5.3 Liter Engine
Question:
I would like to install a better transmission cooler on my 2004 Chev Tahoe 5.3L. Can you tell me what i need and should i replace the current one on the rig or add the new one to it?

I recommend installing a transmission cooler to supplement, not replace, the factory cooler on your 2004 Chevy Tahoe. You will get better performance by adding a cooler rather than replacing one.
On your Tahoe, you may also need the correct fitting, # D13035, to properly install a cooler. The coolers themselves are not vehicle specific, so you can use # D13504 that you have referenced. The cooler comes with all the parts needed for installation. I have included a link to a video review for you and links to some FAQ articles and a typical installation video.
