It depends on the brand of the brush guard,most brush guards and their brackets are year, make model specific but since they are both Chevys it is possible it fits both. If you let me know the brand and model of your brush guard I can check into it.

The Westin HDX Grill Guard for the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 will not fit the 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD unfortunately. The Westin HDX Grill Guard with punch plate in black powder coated steel for the 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 is part # 57-3785. The stainless steel version is # 57-3780 and the Westin HDX grill guard winch mount and punch plate is part # 57-93785. The Grill Guard for the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 most likely does not fit the 2018 Chevy 2500 because the brackets do not fit the the same and the shape of the Grille is slightly different dependent on body style.
