What Causes and Prevents Persistent Trailer Sway at 60 MPH
Question:
I just purchased a 2019 surveyor 287bhss and when pulling with my 2015 f150 long bed I get quite a bit of sway above 60 mph. I currently have the bracket on the 9th link! The truck and camper are level And I’m also getting an air ride type feel when I hit a bump on the road the truck and camper bounce. Any advice would be appreciated.

WD systems are great at minimizing sway from passing semi trucks and high winds but they are not designed to prevent persistent sway like you described as that's almost always a loading problem. You need to get as much weight forward in the trailer as you can as it sounds like your tongue weight is too low. Ideally your tongue weight is between 10 and 15 percent of the total trailer weight.
You also want to make sure your trailer is sitting as level as possible and that your trailer suspension is not worn out. Also you can check to make sure your tires are inflated to the max psi for them that is on the sidewall of the trailer.
