I reached out to my contact at Advent who said that there are a variety of things that could be causing the issue you are experiencing with the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135C. Some of these include problems with the ducts, not taping everything off correctly, or possibly no voltage to the blue wire for powering the compressor. If you are familiar with troubleshooting AC units then you can check these things otherwise it would be best to take your setup in to a service center as they would know what to look for.

are you referring to the blue wire on the wire harness that plugs in on the inside of the camper? that is the only blue wire I am seeing.

@JonG I’m having the same issue. Installed it yesterday and it’s not blowing cold air even a little. I’ve wasted my money and I live in Texas. I’ve troubleshooted like crazy. Researched and backtracked. Looked over it a thousands times. The unit is probably just defective but I also hear this is a problem with advent units.

@Ben were you able to remove this issue?! Was it in fact the blue wire?!

My situation is similar but I had this unit installed atop a Chevy step van. Would the same issue apply to me?! My truck is wired for solar power so it turns on and everything but it only blows warm. Does this mean this unit was never suitable for anything but an actual RV, which has the blue wire?!

@Essence The blue wire just has power ran to it to run the compressor. So if that blue wire isn't hooked up then that would explain why yours isn't getting cold - it's because the compressor isn't receiving power.

@JonG just installed this unit and the unit only blows warm air. Sounds like compressor not coming on.
