Expert Reply:
The towing capacity of your 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer can vary from 4,800 lbs to 6,200 lbs depending on drive type and axle ratio. If you can provide these then I can give you an exact towing capacity or you can refer to page 4-55 of your owner's manual. The weight of the car and trailer cannot exceed that of your vehicle's towing capacity.
If you are able to tow your car and trailer with the Trailblazer then you will need a trailer wiring harness and brake controller if the trailer has electric brakes. For a trailer wiring harness, you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55774 and for a brake controller, you can use the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller part # C24VV with the Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers part # C51515.
You might also want some suspension enhancements to help with sag, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRETB.
