Leveling Scissor Jack Recommendation for a 24 ft Class C RV
Question:
Good morning, I want to install 2 pairs of these jack on my 24foot Class C RV to level it GVWR 14000lbs. However, I have some concern with the front to back or side to side stability. I understand that I have to block the wheel to prevent any movement but can they sustain some sideway strain caused by an unleveled terrain? My other option is to install 8000 lbs leg jack. Thanks Regards

Considering the weight of your 24 fot Class C RV these Leveling Scissor Jacks, part # TJSCHD-24, should work very well for you.
As far as the stability of these jacks, like you said, you will want to have the wheels blocked so that if the jacks are down the trailer will not be able to roll. And for side to side stability, as long as the terrain is within reason you should not have to worry about side to side stability. These jacks are pretty heavy duty and should provide you with enough side to side stability as long you are on reasonably level ground.
