It appears the factory rails on a 2016 Crew Cab Silverado will be the same fit as a 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab. This is based on the aftermarket rails like the Westin R5 Nerf Bars # 28-51035 which will fit 2007 new body style through 2018 light duty 1500 models or 2019 heavy duty 2500 or 3500 models.
