Converting 120 Volt 30 Amp 3 prong Outlet on Generac 4000XL Generator for Emergency Household Use

Question:

I need a power cord for emergency household usage refrigerator/lights/fans during power outage, to connect to my Generac 4000XL generator. I want to use the 120 Volt. 30 Amp receptical, along with 2 120 Volt 15 Amp outlets on the generator. I would not use the 120/240 Volt 20 Amp receptical on the generator. Will your 30 Amp Generator Adapter Plug work on the Generac 4000XL?

You can use that adapter along with the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 15 Amp Female to 30 Amp Male - Round # A10-3015ARDVP to give you the useable 3rd outlet.
