I spoke with my contact at Lippert regarding the error message issue you are having with your Ground Control Leveling System. He says it sounds like the controller may have gone bad. To check this you can cut power to the controller and just do a hard reset for about 15 minutes and then power the unit back on. If you still get the error message on the panel then the controller will need to be replaced.

If you have the 3.0 Ground Control Leveling System # LC358590 the correct replacement controller is part # LC304136.

Hall Power Short error, unable to clear. Appeared when 5th Wheel was hitched on to truck. RV is unusable

If you're able to operate the jacks, extend all of them at least 6". Then press and hold the retract button until the jacks begin going down. Once they're all fully retracted the error code should clear. Just let me know if the error persists for some reason.

@ChrisR thanks! No nothing works. I turn on the system by pushing the up /down arrows and immediately starts blinking red. If I go inside I only see the message Hall Power Short click enter. I do it and it comes up again.

@MariaI Thanks for the info. I'm sorry this is causing so much trouble. It sounds a bit like there may be a short on the actual wiring for the system. Inspect the power wire going to the battery and check for any exposed or pinched sections that need to be replaced. Make sure both the power and ground wires are still securely connected. Lastly make sure the battery itself is still in good condition and fully charged.
