Towing Capacity of 2018 Honda Accord Sedan with 2.0L Engine
Question:
how much can i tow with my 2018 4door accord?

Expert Reply:
From my research your 2018 Honda Accord can tow up to 1,000 pounds since it has the 2.0L. According to the owner's manual the 1.5L is not designed for towing and if someone tries to tow with one the warranty may be voided. Yikes!
The hitch I recommend for your Honda is the Curt, part # C11525. It's rated up to 2,000 pounds but you're still limited by the vehicle's 1,000 pound max. The recommended ball mount with the hitch is part # 3593. Use part # 19258 if you need a 2 inch ball or part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
Finally, the wiring harness I recommend is part # 118776. It plugs in behind each tail light inline with the factory wiring. Then run one wire to the Accord's battery so the trailer's lights don't draw power from the vehicle's wiring system.
