Best Bike Rack for a Pedego Stretch Electric Cargo Bike

Question:

What bike rack can I use for my Pedego Stretch? I believe my bike is too too long for a standard bike rack. My car is a Porsche Cayenne. Thank you!

I did some research on your Pedego Stretch Electric Cargo Bike and it looks like due to the weight that the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE part # HLY84FR will be your best option. However, your bike weighs 65 lbs but the battery adds 12 lbs and the rack adds 8 lbs which brings your total to 85 lbs. We do not have a bike rack that can support an 85 lb bike but the Sport Rider SE can support 80 lbs. So, as long as you either A) remove the battery or B) remove the rack then you can safely carry your bike on this rack. The wheelbase of 49.5" that your bike has will not be an issue for the 60" max wheelbase this bike rack has so length will not be an issue.

The Sport Rider SE comes with locks for both the rack and your bike so you should have peace of mind in that aspect. The only other item I recommend in order to use your bike with this rack is the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # HRBA-PRO. The reason you will want to use the adapter bar is because your bike has a deep drop tube frame which would then make it difficult for the frame hook on the bike rack to attach to if not for the adapter bar.
