Solution for Leveling Out 5th Wheel Camper Wheen Connected to Lifted Truck
Question:
I have a 2014 F250 8in lift on 37s, was told id have to lift the camperaxle flip, but already sits under the springs. I hooked up and still have 8 inch of clearance at the tailgate to the camper. It still obviously too high but wasnt sure how well the camper would ride, i dont do long trips most with in an an hour of home. It has the double eye springs, also want sure how well that system distributes weight.

If the axle on your fifth-wheel trailer already sits below the leaf springs, then using an Over-Under Conversion Kit like # K71-385-00 isn't an option for lifting the trailer. The only other way to lift your trailer will be to replace its existing hangers with longer ones. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of hangers that you can look through if you decide to go this route.
Otherwise, you should be able to adjust the height of the fifth-wheel hitch on your truck. Check to make sure that it is at its lowest possible setting. Most trailer pin boxes can also be adjusted, so you will want to make sure you can't adjust it any further to help level out the camper when hooked up.
