Which Thule Roof Mount Bike Rack Fits Thule Rapid Aero Crossbars on a 2011 Ford Edge

I had Thule side racks and cross bars installed on my 2011 Ford Edge. It is a good thing I talked with a couple of gals over the phone. I have the oval cross bars aero style? I like the Thule Big mouth but was told I would need to purchase the ride on adapter for $44.95 in order to convert my aeros to square in order to use the Big Mouth. I also saw on your web site the Xadapt2. Can I use that to mount the Big Mouth on the aeros? I also saw the Yakima Y02103 could be mounted on round, square and aeros. Big Mouth + ride on adaptor or the Yakima front loader. Thanks

For the Thule Big Mouth, to get it to fit your Rapid Aero crossbars on your 2011 Ford Edge, you would just need the Thule Xadapt2 Rapid Aero and Xsporter Load Bar Adapter, # Xadapt2. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

If you wanted a Thule bike rack that is a direct fit to the Thule Rapid Aero bars, the Thule UpRide Wheel-Mount Bike Carrier, # TH599000, will work. I have included a link to the installation details and a video of this rack for you.

Regarding the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier, # Y02103, it will fit on crossbars up to 4 inches in diameter.
