Towing Capacity of 2014 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 5.7L 2WD
Question:
I have a 2014 Toyota Crewmax 5.7 rear wheel drive short bed. I was wondering if it is possible to tow a 1979 International Scout II on a trailer for a distance of about 60 miles?

According to the online owners manual for the 2014 Toyota Tundra the maximum that the truck can tow is 10,400 pounds and that is for a specific model (2-wheel drive, regular cab, long bed with 5.7 liter and factory towing package). The Double and CrewMax cab styles have slightly lower ratings of 10,100 and 9900-lbs respectively.
You will want to check your printed manual or contact a local dealership with the truck's VIN so they can look up all of its factory equipment. These are the best ways to confirm towing capacity.
The estimated curb weight of the 1979 International Scout II XLC is 3660-lbs so unless your specific trailer weighs more than 6000-lbs you should be fine towing it with the Scout II. You may care to refer to the two linked articles for general towing help.
