How to Determine if 2014 Honda Accord has LED or Incandescent Taillights for Trailer Wiring

Question:

How do I now if my Honda accord 2014 have LED tail lights. There are two option of wire harness and I am not sure which will fit my Honda Accord 2014 EX-L V6. It appears to have a bulb brake light but I am not sure which type fthe tail lights is.

Watch the brake lights/stoplights as a buddy applies them and you'll be able to tell pretty easily. If the taillight assembly illuminates immediately like flicking on a switch you have LED, but if instead when the light comes on you can watch the light glow brighter and brighter till it's fully illuminated you have incandescent.

If you have a coupe with LED taillights, use part # C56173, if does not have LED taillights, use # 118596. Sedan models would all use # C56173.
