For your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2250. These airbags will do an excellent job of helping to distribute the weight of the trailer across the vehicle in addition to helping with stability and off center loads.
Now in order to compensate for the 6" lift on your vehicle, you will need to add a spacer. The correct spacer for you will depend on the distance you have between the upper and lower brackets once installed. If this distance is between 9.5" and 10.5" then part # F2370 would be correct for you. If you have a different distance then please let me know what that is and I would be happy to make sure you get the correct lift spacer.
Please keep in mind that you will need access to an external compressor to fill the bags. If you would like to eliminate the need for an external compressor then you can add an on-board one using the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158. I have also attached an install video of the above airbag kit installed on a similar 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD for you as well.

I don't like the air bags sitting under frame. Is there a bracket that sits the air bag under the spring. 2005 2500hd silverado
