Installation of Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2002 Dodge Durango without the Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have a 02 Dodge Durango 4.7 it did not come with a tow package I had a friend of mine but going on but it does not have the wine does just wire harness you got T plug into the wire harness plug up underneath the bumper on the driver side

Since your 2002 Dodge Durango doesn't have the factory tow package the trailer wiring harnesses install by plugging in behind both tail lights. I recommend the Tekonsha, part # 118334 for a quality 4-way connector. I've linked a video showing the install on a 2003 that's the same process as yours. The connectors that plug in under the Durango's bumper are for vehicles equipped with the tow package.
If you also need a trailer hitch receier the Draw-Tite, part # 75081, is a confirmed fit.
