Widest Available Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier

Question:

I’m looking for a hitch cargo carrier that is roughly 60” x 36”. Do you have any products that may fit this. I’ve searched multiple sites and not having any luck finding one.

I have a solution for you, however there isn't a carrier that's exactly what you're looking for.

Instead, I recommend the similarly sized Let'sGoAero BossHog, part # H01472.

The 66x24 Lets Go Aero BossHog # H01472 features a slide-out carrier that allows rear hatch access while boasting a 300 pound capacity. This solid floor carrier is appropriate for a wide range of vacation and camping uses, as well as handy around town needs.

I've included a video review of this product for your consideration.

That was a salesman diversion that failed to answer the mans question. Your answer - if honest would have been sorry- we dont have a carrier that is 36 inches wide. I am also looking for a 36 inch carrier. You cannot put a 36 inch wide mower on a 32 inch carrier base.

It's true that we don't have a 36" wide carrier available - Jacob did mention at the beginning of his answer that we didn't have exactly what he was looking for, and offered our next best options. I'm sorry we couldn't help you out in this instance.

@ChrisR Noticed these comments from several years ago. I am looking for a 60 x 36 cargo rack. ( MUST be a minimum of 36” wide). Has anything come on the market yet in that size?

Unfortunately, a 36 inch wide cargo carrier is still not available. The widest carriers we offer are 30 inches wide. I suspect carrying weight much further out than that from the hitch receiver puts too much torque on the cargo carrier's shank.

It's a shame that no one offers a 36" wide hitch carrier. Many disabled people are large people and need the larger carrier. If you're disabled and thin you'll be taken care of if you're large...well, tough luck.

I suspect that having something heavy 36 inches out from the receiver creates more leverage than the carrier and receiver can handle. Add to that a ramp function and it is a bigger problem. I am sorry that we could not be more helpful.
