Wiring for 2013 Mercedes Benz Sprinter to Connect to Trailer's 7-Way
Question:
I am looking for a trailer connector that connects from the tail light of my 2013 mercedes-benz-sprinter to the female plug of the trailer. The connector found is not using all the pins cause the trailer female plug have on 7 plugs and the connector used is the after market not installed from the Mercedes. Is there any other connector to use from the tail light to the female trailer plug.

Helpful Expert Reply:
In order to connect to your trailer's 7 way, you would first need to install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118650. This will plug into the wiring harness behind the tail lights on your 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. From there, you would simply add the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector # 30717, which would allow you to connect to your trailer's 7-way.
I have added a link to an install video for you to take a look at which demonstrates the process. If you needed mounting hardware for the adapter, I recommend taking a look at mounting brackets # 18138 and # C57202.
