Are Zinc Plated Brakes Good For Use In Saltwater
Question:
Good Day, I boat in salt water about 2-3 time a week. I cant seem to find any info on corrosion resistance for this disk break, I would rather do it right the first time and not have to replace them in a year or so. Would these be a good match or should I be looking at a different set? Thanks

Yes, the Titan Disc Brake Kit and Leverlock Actuator w/ Electric Lockout part # T4843300 is an excellent option that will do a great job of resisting corrosion. The actuator is coated with a galvanized zinc plating and the calipers and mounting hardware are all dacromet plated. This coating is ideal for saltwater applications and will work well for you.
I have also attached a review video of this kit for you.
