Removing Old Lock to Install a New One on a Yakima Bike Rack

I recently acquired a used Yakima bicycle rack without keys. I was wondering how I can get lock out to install old lock?

If the Yakima bike rack is unlocked then you can use the control key # Y8007835 to remove the existing lock and install a new SKS lock. If you do not have new locks already you can get a 2-pack with keys and the control key using # Y07202.

If the rack is old enough then it will not have SKS locks so you would not be able to replace them. Is there a name or model number on the rack or do you know its approximate age?

Also if the lock is currently locked then unless we know the key number (which is on the keys but also printed on the side of the lock where you can't see it) then the lock will have to be drilled out.
