To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Electric Brake Controller # 90885 in your 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 you'll need to connect the red wire from the P2 to the cold side of the Sprinter's stop light switch. This will be the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is being pressed. The wire you're looking for is usually a pink wire with a green stripe that is located above the brake pedal under the van's dashboard. Take a look at the video I linked and skip ahead to about the 17 minute mark.

@MartyS Does your Sprinter 3500 have the factory tow package with the 7-way trailer connector at the rear bumper?

@MartyS Does your 2017 Sprinter 3500 have the factory tow package with the 7-way trailer connector at the rear bumper? (most do). In that case, you'll just need your brake controller and the # 3063-P wiring harness which plugs in under the driver's seat. If it does not, let me know and I'll get you some info to help with a hardwire install.
