We offer a replacement heavy-duty gas strut with a 10-inch dimension between its ball/socket mounts, part # UWSLIFTCYLIND from UWS which is the item you referenced. This item has a weight capacity of 45-lbs. I could not find a cross reference for the part numbers you provided (thank you) but since the dimensions match up exactly, so long as your tool box lid does not weigh more than 45-lbs (unlikely since it is aluminum) you should be fine using this item in your Husky tool box.

@Joe Hey there, I don't see any cross reference to that part number, but you're not completely out of luck. We have a page full of universal struts that you can look at and match up to your strut, just check out the attached link. Or you can give me the dimensions and I'll try to match one up for you! You'd likely need something like # 3691824-10 which has extended length of Extended length (from center of top socket to center of bottom socket): 10-1/16" Compressed length: 6-7/16" or # ATL83QR which has Extended length 10-1/16" and Compressed length: 6-7/16". These all use the same universal ball socket design.
