Recommended Roof Rack And Carrier For Two Kayaks On 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer 5-Door Sportback

Can you please give me a recommandation for a kayak and roof rack for carrying 2 kayaks on a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer 5 door sportback. Is there really a noticable difference in windnoise between square and aero crossbars?

For your 2011 Lancer 5-door I recommend the Thule Roof Rack. You asked about the wind noise difference between square and aero crossbars and without a doubt the WingBar crossbars with the Thule roof rack are considerably quieter than any square bars on the market.

On the Thule roof rack the WingBar crossbars have integrated T-slots that can be used for accessories and it also has rubber stripping in the T-slots with a textured surface that greatly reduces wind drag and noise. for this roof rack you will need part # TH711220 or # TH711200, with parts # TH460R and # THKIT3071.

The kayak carrier I recommend is The Stacker, part # TH830. This allows you to be able to carry your kayaks on their side and will work with the WingBars. This system folds down flat when you are not carrying your kayaks and it includes straps, and ratcheting tie-downs.
