Weight Distribution Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Honda Pilot Towing Jayco 17XFD
Question:
Which weight distribution hitch do you recommend for a 2015 Honda Pilot Touring edition? I purchased a Jayco 17XFD, the dry weight is 3,310 dryweight and the towing capacity for the pilot is 4,500 lbs.

Since your Pilot is going to have a max tongue weight of 450 lbs you will want to go with a system that is properly rated for that tongue weight since most likely your trailer's tongue weight will be right there. Also, you need to consider the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the Pilot as tongue weight.
The part # RP66540 would be an excellent option as it has a tongue weight range of 200 lbs - 600 lbs which should be perfect for you.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
