How Much Grease is Needed in an EZ Lube Axle
Question:
Good Morning, I have an E-Z lube axle. I have pumped about 7oz of grease into the hub while spinning the hub and I still have not seen grease coming out to the grease cap how much does it take? This particular axle I am working is for a utility trailer. Thank you

I can help you with greasing up your EZ Lube Axle.
First thing I would check would be that the grease is not coming out of the back of the axle through the seal. If this is the case you will need to replace the seal.
Our tubes like # L11390 have 14 ounces which should be more than enough to fill your axle. You will want to continue to pump grease until you begin to see the outer bearing move or you see grease seeping through the outer bearing.
Make sure you pump the grease slowly and rotate the hub, this way you should not blow the grease seal, as long as it is not bad itself.
