Reverse Light Circuit on 2001 Ford F-150 7-Way Not Working to Power Hopkins Backup Camera
Question:
Plugged everything in and nothing. I put a meter on the 7 way plug and it appears the middle reverse spot is dead. I have a 4 way adaptor plugged in for my trailer lights with LED indicators and all other lights appear to work like parking and turn signals. Now what? Any tips? Thank you!

If your reverse light circuit is not functioning on your 2001 Ford F-150 then it could be a blown or missing fuse in the tow package wiring. Under the hood in the power distribution box, check the fuse in location 6 and the relay in location 203. If either is blown or missing then it will need to be replaced.
The other option is to run the wire associated with the center pin on the factory 7-Way to a reverse light wire behind one of the reverse lights and tap into it using a quick splice connector such as # SWC501746-1.
