2015 and 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor SUV Trailer Hitch Recomendation
Question:
was wondering if the 76034 was recommended or would work with the 2015ford interceptor suv explorer. It is not offered with a factory option for a hitch. Also would this same hitch work with the 2016 models.

The 2015 and 2016 Police Interceptor versions of the Ford Explorer use the same frame structure as consumer models so hitch fits for standard versions also apply to the law enforcement vehicles. I confirmed this with my technical contact at Draw Tite.
The Draw Tite brand hitch you referenced, part # 76034, is a confirmed fit for both 2015 and 2016 model years of the Explorer Police Interceptor SUV. The hitch installs without drilling and includes the required mounting hardware. I have linked for you and installation video.
