Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Dodge Durango
Question:
Any reported issues or concerns using this hitch on a 2015 Durango? Was not sure if the one comment on lack of clearances to the bumper, etc. was relative to all Durangos. Thanks, will likely use for bike rack, not heavy towing.

The issue that one customer had with the receiver/cross tube on hitch # C13182 making contact with the fascia seems to be an anomaly. The vast majority of reviewers did not have this issue so there could have been something different about that one Durango or maybe something slightly off with the particular hitch he received.
On a 2015 Dodge Durango the hitch should fit up nicely close to the rear fascia like on the 2014 in the video I have linked.
I know you mentioned using the hitch for a bike carrier but if you ever wanted to do any towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And to add trailer wiring on a model that did not come with the factory tow package use # 118617. I have also included a link to all of the hitch mount bike carriers we offer.
