A 175/65-14 is not a trailer tire size, it is a passenger vehicle tire size. Passenger vehicles should not be used on trailers because they are constructed differently than trailer tires. Trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall to handle more vertical load.

A 175 tire will be approximately 6.895 inches wide but they only fit on 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 inch wide wheels. To be clear, the width is measured where the tire sits on the wheel, not the overall width. If that width was 6 inches the tire would have to expand too much and would leak air or fail easily.
